Meganisi Dinghy Sailing |

Meganisi Sailing Holidays start on Sundays; you fly from Manchester or Gatwick to Aktion (Preveza) Airport on mainland Greece.
Your airport transfer, which takes about 40 minutes, then takes you to the ferry at Nidri on Lefkas Island,
which is separated from the mainland by a lifting/swing bridge. You then take the ferry to Meganisi Island which takes approximately 45 minutes.

Free Sailing
Choose your dinghy for the day from VB Dinghies, Korsar, Wayfarer or Hobie 16 and
then day sail in Atheni Bay, explore the other nearby bays or Meganisi Island’s coastline secure in the knowledge that assistance will
always be on hand from Meganisi Sailing, returning in the evening to Fanari Beach to enjoy Meganisi Island’s many charms.

Basic Dinghy Sailing Course |
In this one week course you will learn the basics of sailing - How you keep your dinghy upright, where the wind is coming from,
how to trim the sails and go about, how to come alongside and land. There is also a one hour theory lesson each morning at the waters edge.
Then its hoist the sails and the fun begins. Under the guidance of a qualified instructor you will soon be relaxed, with the tiller in
your hand enjoying the pleasure of dinghy sailing in the sun.
The course is completed with excursions into nearby bays; capsize routine and finally a regatta. The course can be finished off by
achieving a sailing certificate that will allow you to charter a dinghy.

Basic Catamaran Course |
The same dinghy course is also available for catamarans, even with just small white crests on the waves the ‘Cats’
get going and together with your instructor you can practice your trapeze or spinnaker techniques.
