BOOKING
Provisional bookings will be considered cancelled if not confirmed within 7 days. A holiday is not booked until the completed booking form,
together with 30% of the holiday fee has been received. In paying your deposit, you are deemed to have read and accepted the following terms
and conditions and other information relevant to your holiday shown in brochures or on the Yachtsun web site.
DINGHY DETAILS
Dinghy details are given as a general guide, whilst every effort is taken to ensure details are correct, it is always advisable to check
specific features and equipment that are important to you when booking.
PAYMENT
The balance of the holiday fee must be paid to us eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday period.
SAFETY
In booking this holiday, you accept that sailing holidays contain an element of risk and participation in this activity is your decision.
You are responsible for your own safety, the dinghy and its crew at all times.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is a condition of booking that all members of the party must have adequate travel insurance, at least to the level offered by
Global Travel Insurance
EXEMPTIONS FROM LIABILITY
We take great care to see that the Dinghies meet local regulations and are maintained to the highest possible standards. We cannot be held responsible
for any non-fulfilment of program, illness, injury or death however caused, unless we or any of our employees are proved to be negligent.
CANCELLATION BY YOU
Should you be unable to take the holiday we must be notified immediately in writing and every effort will be made to re-book the holiday.
If we are successful we will refund the monies paid, less any expenses incurred in re-booking. If we are unable to re-book the holiday,
you remain responsible for the whole amount due.
CANCELLATION BY YACHTSUN
In the unlikely event of our being unable to make the holiday available, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer the following options.
A) If available, a similar holiday of comparable value.
B) Cancellation and refund of all monies paid to Yachtsun for Sailing Holiday/Accommodation.
YACHTSUN RIGHTS
We reserve the right for Yachtsun or persons managing Meganisi Sailing to control or limit sailing activities according to local conditions or
assessment of sailing experience and ability of the clients.
ACCIDENTS
Clients are responsible for the safe sailing of the Dinghies at all times. A member of Meganisi Sailing must be informed immediately
in the case of accidents and the client must provide Meganisi Sailing with a full written report, giving full particulars together with names
and addresses of witnesses.
SAILING LIMITS (Meganisi)
Dinghies are restricted to the north coast of Meganisi without prior permission to extend the sailing area.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
Yachtsun aim to provide you with the best possible holiday and one that meets your expectations. However if a problem occurs you must report
this immediately (or as soon as it is possible) to Meganisi Sailing or the Hotel/Accommodation owner who will try to resolve this on the spot.
However if you are not satisfied, you should make them aware of your dissatisfaction and write to us as soon as possible,
but not later than 28 days after your holiday.
Complaints regarding extra goods or services paid for on site must be reported on site as they can only be resolved/refunded where the purchase was made.
